AJ Chaka is a 27-year-old emcee and songwriter whose music threads the bounce of classic West Coast hip-hop with the polish of pop-rap and the urgency of modern lyricism. Born in Sacramento and based in Dallas since 2012, he has earned a reputation for razor-sharp wordplay, magnetic delivery, and a catalogue that grows more ambitious with every release.

Chaka’s love for the craft began at just four years old, recording playful rhymes with his cousins on his mother’s computer. What started as innocent fun quickly evolved into a serious passion, deeply inspired by lyrical giants like Nas, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, J.
